This one is just a case of very, very dumb. Where as once we had the sins of the father, this is a case of being punished for the sins of the mothers.
A 14-year-old Ontario student has been expelled from a Christian school because her parents are lesbians, the school’s superintendent said in a letter.
According to AP, Shay Clark was expelled from Ontario Christian School on Thursday.
“Your family does not meet the policies of admission,” Superintendent Leonard Stob wrote to Tina Clark, the girl’s biological mother.

Dutch tax authorities have allowed a woman to deduct the 2,210 euros it cost her to take a one-year course in witchcraft, officials have reported.
According to MyWay/ Reuters, The 39-year actress and artist learned how to use crystal balls and prepare herbs, and also spells and other witchcraft skills at the course held in the country’s northwest.
“The woman used the training in order to start … giving workshops, so she used it to extend her professional knowledge,” the tax official told Reuters.

Police in Minneapollis recently attended a call with a difference: a man rang in panic to say he was being eaten alive in his home by rats.
According to Dayton Daily News, more than 200 black rats — a colony originating from one pet-store type of rat the mman had taken in had overrun the small house.

An English Lord, a member of the upper house of the English Parliament, has been sentenced to 16 months in jail for deliberately setting fire to a curtain in a hotel after a boozy night out in Edinburgh.
According to Reuters, Labour peer Mike Watson pleaded guilty to starting the blaze in the early hours of November 12 last year following a ceremony in the Scottish capital to celebrate the Scottish Politician of the Year awards.

Two Oregon girls were charged have been charged with attempted murder after local authorities said they put rat poison into milk cartons of two fellow students.
According to CNN, no one was seriously hurt in the incident. Both girls were being held at a juvenile detention facility.
The school’s principal notified police after the green, crystalline pellets of poison were found in the cartons.
“It wasn’t until they finished their milk that they saw it at the bottom…I don’t think it had time to work its way into the milk.”

An Omaha, Nebraska man who had been having some problems with his neighbours decided to leave a plesant message for his neighbours in his front lawn: “F*CK YOU”.
According to FoxNews, neighbors said the man, identified only by the last name Miller, had long put off mowing his unruly lawn, until the city recently gave him a warning following complaints. The pithy phrase appears to have been the result.
To rub insult to the neighbouts wounds, the lawn is entirely legal.

An incident involving a toy gun turned into a real scare for a Salem, N.H. family.
Sitting in a truck with his two children, a father started putting the toy weapon together, but local police officiers got the wrong idea.

Kids, don’t try this at home!
A hand grenade kept as a souvenir from Lebanon’s civil war exploded in a Kuwaiti government office as a worker played with it, killing the man and injuring two other people, the ambassador said.
According to AP, the dead and injured were all Lebanese employees of the Kuwaiti Information Office.

This really puts a new meaning to the word “piss“. At least 10 people have been arrested and more than 7,000 bottles of phony whiskey, cognac and other spirits seized following a months long investigation into a nationwide bootlegging operation, the official China Daily newspaper reported Tuesday.
According to AP/ Mayway, the gang collected empty, discarded bottles of name brand liquors and then filled them with generic drinking alcohol blended to taste, look and smell like the real thing.
The gang then sold the booze to nightclub managers around China who denied knowing it was fake, despite its heavily discounted price.
