Teenagers bomb police with paint cans
A story on the Sun Times web site talks about some teenagers in New York City who decided it would be a good idea to drop some pain cans off a roof. One cop was injured, and several squad cars were damaged. Brilliant.
The officer, who had been standing in front of his precinct in Midtown, was treated for an eye injury early Sunday, police said.
Tyler Moore and Sean McGhee, both 18, and Brittany Goldberg, 17, were arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespass, police said.
Five police vehicles parked in front of the precinct were damaged.
About seven gallon-sized cans were dropped from the roof of the Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel, police said.
