Check out this anti ‘like’ billboard from the Academy of Linguistic Awareness.  I think the movie Clueless is to blame for a lot of young people abusing the word.  What a dumb movie!

    FYI, people were using ‘like’ as a filler word long before the movie Clueless was even a twinkle in its mother’s eye.

    I note that one of the tags for this entry is “grammer billboard.” Bad grammar is a no-no but I gather poor spelling is a-ok?
