If I had worn that back in the day, I would've been kick out for sure. In 7th grade, I was a pommerette and our pep-advisor required us to dress up for Halloween to promote school spirit. I dressed as an elf, with a belt holding up a giant pillow (as a belly) under a giant shirt over tights. Another teacher thought dressing up was disruptive to the learned school atmosphere and made everyone is her class take off their costumes. Like, what the hell was I supposed to wear? I ended up with a giant shirt sans belly over tights. What was the point? And this is the teacher that took field trips to AND DRESSED UP FOR the Renaissance Faire each year. Sheesh. LOL!
