My Husband Was Refused a Bottle of Wine
Ok this is REALLY dumb! My husband who’s 24 was at the grocery store today trying to buy a bottle of wine (as well as various fruits and veggies) and they thought his Washington State driver’s licence was fake! He’s never had ANY trouble buying alcohol until he moved to this state. He’s 6 foot 4 and usually has a lot of facial hair. It’s not like he looks young either. Does this adorable face look younger than 21?
Isn’t my hubby hot? 
In this picture he’s performing a wedding ceremony for friends of ours. Maybe he should have showed them his Life Church Minister card so they’d believe that he was the age his driver’s license says he is?
So annoying and now we don’t have wine for dinner! Grr! At least they didn’t try to confiscate his licence. Then he would have had to take a can of whoop ass out on them.

umm…this is my website…and the whole point of it is to write about stupid things…so yes, if you don’t mind I’ll continue to write about my frustrations and you have my permission to not read the personal ones if you’d prefer!

actually, leora, if that’s what he looks like everyday, i would even guess 18. and i think it’s not that your hubby looks that young, it’s that most young men now look older LOL. i’ve seen 15-year olds that look like they’re 25. the only way you can tell is the way they dress. and then again, so many men now dress like they’re still in their teens.
