Lily Allen Attempts Politics

It’s cute when celebrities attempt political intelligence. Apparently UK singer Lily Allen has been prevented from performing at the V Festival in the US after being accused of kicking a photographer.

While Allen desperately attempts to demonstrate intelligence by claiming this is some sort of gross political injustice, the rest of us watch her flounder with either a little bit of sympathy or a lot of exasperation. Read on…

Lily Allen was typically outspoken during her sets at this weekend’s V Festival calling American president George Bush a “F****** C***.”

Slamming George W is nothing new but after Lily was refused entry to the US last week it’s unlikely to help her case.

She carried on shooting herself in the foot on stage saying: “I’ve been banned from America. That’s nice. Oh well, that means I can’t go back there. Good.”

US Immigration Officials cancelled the LDN singer’s Visa after she was accused of kicking a photographer.

Contrary to reports she was not dropped from our VMA Awards but pulled out because of those problems. Our mates over at MTV in the US tell us she has “a standing invitation to attend the event.”
