Crooks Move In
Here is yet another wonderfully odd story of criminal behavior.
One woman in Decatur, Alabama was shocked to return home on Thursday after an extended absence to find three people living in her house, wearing her clothes, and sleeping in her bed. They even had the gal to tell her that it was they in fact who owned the home and she was the intruder!
No word on exactly how long the squatters had been living there, but they certainly did make themselves feel comfortable. The police found lots of drug paraphernalia around the house among other things.
What I just can’t figure out is how long she would have to have been away for people to “move in” and nobody to take notice. Doesn’t anyone know their neighbors anymore?
