Dumb Games: Presidential Pong
‘Tis the season to start getting worked up about the 2008 contenders for the White House and CNN is helping us all set the mood with their new online game, Presidential Pong.
It’s a whole lot like pong you remember back from your Atari playing youth but instead of nondescript white bar paddles, you get to play with presidential candidates. If it’s Primary Season that’s got you going, you can also play same-party head-to-head games and decide the ultimate showdown between Barack and Hillary or Guliani and Mitt Romney. Each candidate also has their own special "power up" ability like John Edwards "the two Americas" which splits the ball into two and John McCain’s "military veteran" power up which makes the balls movement unpredictable on the opponent’s side of the field.
Now the game is already a bit outdated with former presidential hopeful Sam Brownback still in the roster while folks like Joe Biden and Mike Huckabee are nowhere to be seen. But it’s still a fun way to waste time… Enjoy!
