Now at first glance this is no big deal. It might even be legit if it were on a relevant post. What you don’t see in the text I have reproduced here is that every other or every third letter was a link to some sex website.
Look out Akismet, the spammers are slowly getting smarter…

The real trick is that spam messages are slowly starting to look like real comments rather than just garbled text.
It might be nice of you to tone down the sarcasm just a bit.

No, I’m curious. What would make someone think to try every other or every third letter? I understand and support any effort to keep spam out of legit. discussions.
