Killer SF Tiger Escapes
It looks like zoo security was more than a bit lacking on Christmas at the San Francisco Zoo when a tiger escaped from her cage. Before being gunned down by police, she killed one zoo visitor and mauled two others.
Tatiana, the 300 pound Siberian tiger, apparently had a history of aggressive tendencies including one incident where she "chewed the flesh off a zookeeper’s arm" at a feeding demonstration around this time last year. Not that I would be thrilled to be stuck in a cage and yelled at by children all day for my entire life, but you’d think something like that might be an indication that something is quite wrong!
The most incredible thing about the tiger’s escape however, was that she was able to accomplish it at all. Her pen has a 15-foot deep moat and a 20-foot high wall! They think she somehow climbed or leapt out.
How very sad and deepest condolences to all the families affected. I have no doubt the zoo will suffer both financially and reputationally for this…

i wish that tiger would of ate the mother f***er, he didnt deserve to be killed. how would you like to be locked up in a cage and screamed at all day?

Capturing wild animals for science and amusement sucks - big time. I feel ashamed to be human when I consider how these magnificent creatures are exploited and wish that they could be left well alone in their natural habitat.

My heart goes out to the families that have suffered from this tragedy but in realilty we bring it on ourselves. The zoo wouldn’t have these beautiful creatures caged if it weren’t for us, the ones that pay the entrance fee to the zoo. I am guilty of just this. I LOVE animal but should they be caged for our entertainment????????

Those brothers are known criminals. They conspired from their tourneys in front of the paramedics to keep their mouths shut. IN fact, they wouldn’t even ID their dead friend on Christmas day, he lay there unidentified until the 26th. Now, a witness has come forward to substantiate the evidence of taunting. Those MORONS jumped over the rails and broke the law. They are responsible for this. They should take their moronic pathetic lives and be happy to have them, instead of trying to get rich off their crimes. Now we are supposed to believe what the slimey lawyer has to say after all this time of silence? NO way! I wouldn’t award these scum a dime!
