Where’s My Baby Jesus?
One little baby Jesus statue is getting something very special for Christmas this year… a GPS system. That’s right, one town in Florida is so concerned that the baby will be stolen again from their nativity scene that they’ve stuck a Global Positioning System device inside it just in case. Last year the statue was stolen despite being bolted down.
They’ve even taken the added precaution this year of putting the scene behind plexiglass and installed similar devices in the Mary and Joseph statues. Who would have known that vandals were so persistent in Bal Harbour?
Now that the news has broke, I have just one question… What is to stop the next would-be burglar from simply taking the GPS out? Unless they’ve found a clever way to put the device inside the statue without breaking it, it shouldn’t be too hard to remove. Thoughts?

They shouldn’t have told everyone that they put a GPS on the baby Jesus… now whoever steals him will know to remove it. If it was a secret, they might have a shot. But man how silly will the cop feel driving up to some frat house and saying “According to our tracking device you have the baby Jesus.”
Some friends of mine once stole baby Jesus from a church here in Hickville… I always felt kind of bad about it even though I don’t like that particular church.
