Britney Spears Goes to the Loony Bin
All I can say is that this has been a long time coming. After an argument Thursday night with her ex Kevin Federline at her home in Los Angeles regarding a custodial dispute over their children Sean Preston and Jayden James, it sounds like someone called the cops on Britney Spears.
Police first responded to the call around 8 pm and by 10:30 pm six squad cars, two ambulances, and a fire truck pulled up. Spears was taken away strapped to a gurney and hospitalized to test for drug and/or alcohol consumption as well as for psychiatric evaluation. She is still holed up in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the paparazzi are undoubtedly outside waiting for her eventual release.
My only question is why did it take that many emergency responders to strap down Britney and haul her to the hospital? Maybe five of the squad cars were filled with cops to hold back the paparazzi, the fire truck was for hosing down the onlookers, and the two ambulances were meant to confuse pursuers on route. In any event, something gives me a feeling she won’t be seeing her kids for some time. Back to rehab!
***Update: Britney has lost all custody rights to her kids. Poor woman, it’s high time she straightened herself out. ***
