Simply Dumb

A Very Non-PC Board Game

by Ariel on January 27th, 2008

dont-drop-the-soap-boardgame CBS is reporting the release of a new, incredibly politically incorrect, made-for-adults board game from a very unexpected source.  The son of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, John Sebelius, has begun peddling a board game entitled Don’t Drop the Soap.

This "prison-themed" time waster was the result of a class project he recently completed at the Rhode Island School of Design.  Here is how Sebelius’ website describes the game:

Fight your way through 6 different exciting locations in hopes of being granted parole. Escape prison riots in The Yard, slip glass into a mob boss’ lasagna in the Cafeteria, steal painkillers from the nurse’s desk in the Infirmary, avoid being cornered by the Aryans in the Shower Room, fight off Latin Kings in Gang War, and try not to smoke your entire stash in The Hole.

The artistry of each handcrafted piece is matched with comparable humor & intelligence on every card. Stack your smokes, sharpen your shank, and get ready for an experience that only someone on the outside could appreciate.

The game sells for $34.99 and will be available "in-person" at the Hobbs game shop in the college town of Lawrence (state anyone?) beginning January 31st.

Here’s the best part: the contact address is the Governor’s mansion!  Governor Sebelius and her husband U.S. Magistrate Judge Gary Sebelius say they are very proud of their son and that the contact information will change when John moves out.

Is there anyone living in Kansas who knows if there will be any political fallout?
