Simply Dumb

I would say that most of the time I have a great deal of respect for Republican presidential contender John McCain. 

Unlike many of the other folks in the race from both parties, he has been relatively consistent in his policies and political views, quite bipartisan in his approach to passing legislation, and unafraid of taking a principled stand against party and government policy he deems irresponsible. 

I was also under the impression that he has mostly avoided the sort of negative campaigning which makes presidential races so unbearable every four years.  Well, an advertisement banner I saw atop my own site of SimplyDumb.com made me question that:

Now I know all Republicans have a bone to pick with the Clintons, but this image of Hillary Clinton’s disembodied disapproving head floating inside a crystal ball is just too much. 

My word of political advice to the McCain campaign: if you want to have any shot at winning this election and wooing moderates, drop this tasteless, content-less anti-Clinton fear mongering crap and get back to the issues.
