$5.8 Million Stolen By Accident
What would you do if you opened up your bank account one day and found you had a balance of almost 6 million dollars?
One Brooklyn salesman clearly made the wrong decision when he spent about $2 Mil of the 5.8 in an account he somehow accessed which belonged to someone who shares his name. He has been arrested on charges of grand larceny. The man claims he “didn’t intend to steal from anyone” and still believes he is entitled to the money.
The judge has apparently taken pity on the idiot by lowering his bail from $1 million to $10,000 cash. I guess he realized he would have to dip further into the account he stole to pay the larger amount. Oops.
