Simply Dumb

Sometimes divorce can be a messy business.  Often there’s piles of property and other possession to divide up, friends to split up, and child custody battles.  And then there’s the occasional attempt by one of the exes to murder the other with a soda can full of wasps.

Yeah, that’s right.  Angela Nellany of Riverbank, California has plead no contest to the charge that she tried to kill her ex-husband Paul Nellany with a pop can full of wasps and then have a hit man finish the job.  Mr. Nellany is deathly allergic to bee stings.

So how was the plot stopped in its tracks?  Angela apparently didn’t look too far out of her circle of friends to hire the hitman.  Paul found out about the plot because the man she tried to hire told him all about it during a Super Bowl party last year.
