So Is It Still Technically A Getaway Car?
From the Houston Chronicle, a would-be bank robber’s attempt sputtered when his getaway car wouldn’t start. According to Harris County Sheriff’s Department reports, 41-year-old Wayne Williams robbed the First Convenience Bank in Spring Saturday and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
He had to leave on foot, though and when he got arrested on an unrelated drug charge Tuesday police were able to trace him to the vehicle left at the crime scene.
Williams is currently a guest of the Harris County Jail, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Officials said they’re preparing the robbery charge because this time Williams really isn’t going anywhere. Guess he should have robbed an Auto Zone before he hit the bank.
