Man Tries to Cash $360 Billion Check
That header is not a misprint. The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports that a Crowley, TX man attempted to pass off a $360 billion (that’s 10 zeroes, folks) at a Chase Bank.
Those astute tellers caught onto the crafty ruse and contacted the check’s owner. That check’s owner explained Charles Ray Fuller, 21, was her daughter’s boyfriend. She must be proud. The check owner said she didn’t give him the check or any instructions to cash it.
While in the police car, Fuller said he is starting his own record label and his girlfriend’s mother gave him the check to help it get started. Gee, if I had a legit $360 billion check, I don’t think I’d be worried about starting a business. Or ever working again, for that matter.
