Athens Girl Fakes "Immigration" Attack
You know what thorny issue really needs people to pour more fuel on the fire for no good reason? Illegal immigration. For reasons known only to her, 13-year-old Melanie Bowers told Athens Middle School officials and police that a group of students attacked her because of a sign she made.
That sign said “If you love our nation, stop illegal immigration.” Bowers claimed she was beaten, threatened with further violence and rape because of the sign. But surveillance equipment at the Texas school caught only Bowers scratching herself and then behaving calmly after the supposed “attack” had taken place.
Melanie’s mother Shera released this statement.
“”I see my daughter was not assaulted, and put the marks on her body. No gang violence was witnessed. She filed a false report.”
The Henderson County District Attorney’s Office said it will charge her with filing a false report. We’re charging her with aggravated stupidity. I know what you’re thinking, she’s just a teenager. When I was a teenager, I never did anything that could cause a potential race riot. How ’bout you? Yeah, that’s my point exactly.
