Man’s New Name: In God We Trust
A man in Zion, Ill., a Chicago suburb, changed his name recently. People change their names all the time. Women get married. Kids get adopted. Somebody didn’t like the name their parents gave them. There are a lot of reasons.
But this man, formerly known as Steve Kreuscher, went to court to become “In God We Trust.” Uh huh. First name: In God. Last name: We Trust.
In addition to being a bus driver, Mr. We Trust is an artist. He’s really looking forward to signing his artwork with his new name. The 57-year-old said the name is for the help God has given him through the tough times.
Buddy, I have a feeling times are going to get harder for you, at least when it comes to getting people to take you seriously. Who is going to believe that’s his name? He’ll have to show his new identification a LOT before people start to believe him.
We’re still not sure we believe it.
