McCain Finding VP On Google
Republican presidential hopeful John McCain quipped Monday that he was using Google to find potential running mates. You’re not fooling anybody, John. You’re just trying to prove that at 71 you’re hip enough to know about search engines. I bet after that he talked about pimping his ride.
Who was the Republicans next choice, Regis Philbin? McCain’s so old he began his political career as a Federalist. Still, he sounds more intelligent than W who probably thinks the “Internets” are the devil. And if McCain can track down a veep who can successfully get through two terms in office without shooting anyone, he’ll be doing better than the last guy.
Like most Americans, I’m ready to vote for the candidate who can promise me that gasoline will go to back to being less expensive than solid gold for the next few years. I suspect party leaders will ask McCain to pick a second in command young enough to counteract the age liability. Sounds like McCain/Dakota Fanning in 08!
