Fish Pedicures Are All The Rage
As if the success of Botox didn’t prove human beings will do almost anything if everyone else is doing it, we present the example of the fish pedicure. Associated Press reports that a Northern Virginia spa has been offering them for about four months.
Wait for it: you dip your feet in water and tiny carp (known as doctor fish) straight up eat the dead skin off your feet. Spa owner John Ho said he conceived the treatment because of concerns that razors might be unsanitary. Yeah, but becoming part of the aquatic food chain is cool with his customers.
Ho said about 5,000 people have done this so far. After the fish soften up the customers’ skin they receive a regular pedicure. Yeah, like there’s anything regular about this process.
Blogger’s Note: This is a story about admittedly weird pedicures. Any bizarre “proper way to touch feet” posts or other bizarre fetish stuff will be deleted. Don’t be a weird boy.
