And now a moment of silence for the storied political journey of Jesse Jackson, which passed away in a Fox News interview when the civil rights activist made threats against Barack Obama’s genitalia.
Jackson’s career had suffered from a lengthy illness ever since he fathered an illegitimate child with a woman that worked for his Rainbow-PUSH Coalition. I will refrain from the temptation to use an inappropriate Operation Push joke. Oops.
Religious and political leaders have attempted to nurse Jackson’s career back to health, most recently with publicity transfusions from Don Imus’ ignorance and the city of Jena, Louisiana’s backwards prejudices.
Attempts by Jackson, his son and Obama to resuscitate the career were made but ultimately failed. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has asked all donations be sent to The Commission To Stop Any of Barack Obama’s Political Allies from Ever Speaking Publicly Again. The code for that transaction is SKRU-UP2008 at the Bank Where Democrats Store Their Presidential Hopes and Dreams.
