They’re Making a Fifth Saw Movie?
Criminy, Hollywood it is O.K. to leave one dollar on the table where a major film franchise is concerned. When I saw an ad for this I was hoping it was a parody and Frank Caliendo was going to pop up, but no such luck.
Let it go, guys, let it go. And didn’t the villain die in Saw 3? Come on, already. Wouldn’t it be great if a movie made money and the company said you know what, that was a unique and exciting piece of art. Let’s not ruin it by trying to reanimate this film’s corpse three or four more times.
For my money another Saw sequel is about as welcome on my DVD rack as Brett Favre is at Packers’ training camp. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, they’re remaking Friday The 13th and reportedly working on another Nightmare on Elm Street. Let me know what you think, readers.
