Pranksters re-enact war with squirt guns
The Boston group, Banditos Misteriosos, likes to bring wackiness to its home town. In the form of strange pranks.
Recently, they staged a war battle on a Boston esplanade. With squirt guns. People saw the blue and red uniforms gathering and were intrigued. They waited to see what would happen.
And happen it did. Ten long minutes of brutal squirt gun antics ensued. People dripping wet, hairdos ruined. Cats and dogs living together. Uh, wait. Where was I?
The Banditos Misteriosos has been staging elaborate and crazy escapades in Boston since last December. Most notable: a pillow fight in the middle of downtown Boston involving more than 50 people. Now that sounds like a good prank.
At least the wackiness is benign so far. No destruction of property. No vandalism. Just weirdness, probably to see if they can get people to stop and watch.
One day I saw about 200 Vespas going up the street. I have to admit that I stopped and watched the unusual sight for a bit. What (benign) weirdness would get you to pause to see what was going on?
