Simply Dumb

Ok, does Roseanne have a point to prove or is she just another celebrity starved for attention? On her blog, placed ever so lovingly in between recipes and her random musings on life, rails against Brad and Angelina, their adopted children and Angelina’s estranged dad Jon Voight.

“Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more,” the former ABC sitcom star opines.

Man, are we blasting people for adopting underprivileged kids now? It seems Roseanne realized how harsh she came off and rather than offer a real apology, she blamed the media. She called them “horrid people who have no talent of any kind,” and asked them to “taste her sandy buttcrack.” Yes Roseanne, there you go. That was much more mature than the previous post and clears everything right up.

Ummm… are we seeing a celebrity’s slow spiral into madness/obscurity here? As the old saying goes, we in the media don’t make the news – we just report it. The interesting thing about blogging is that if anyone wants to put their random stream of consciousness out there, they certainly can. But as we’re rapidly learning, just because someone is famous doesn’t necessarily mean their writing is going to be entertaining, thought provoking or even make sense.

Of course, this controversy has given Roseanne more publicity than she’s had since she massacred the National Anthem at a baseball game. Rather than being crazy, Roseanne may know exactly what she’s doing.
