They Call Him Dances With Clintons

Senator Hillary Clinton and US Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator Barack Obama speak at the 'Women for Obama' breakfast at the Hilton Hotel in New York City

The Obama-Clinton conflict that neither side is willing to admit is happening is center stage at the Democratic National Convention. Bloomberg reports that Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke about keeping the party together and threw her support behind Obama.

Rumor has it a few people actually even believed it. CNN’s Jack Cafferty is among those who doesn’t think they can pull it together, even going so far as to say that not picking Hillary as the vice president may cost Obama the election. Cafferty also joked about the Obama camp placating the Clintons by allowing them to speak Tuesday and Wednesday night, asking if we’d actually hear from the nominee during this convention.

I get that her supporters are upset, but she didn’t win. You can’t claim to be the better candidate if you got beat in a majority of the primaries. Well, you can but you shouldn’t expect us to agree. This constant kissing of the Clintons’ political rings isn’t really getting them anywhere. I hear John McCain is really enjoying it though.
