In an interview with MTV’s Sway Calloway, President Elect Barack Obama shows a sad, sad lack of understanding of the critical importance of the issue of sagging pants. He admits he doesn’t want to see dudes’ underwear but stops short of supporting saggy pants legislation. As a matter of fact, he even calls passing sagging pants legislation a “waste of time.”

OK, Paris Hilton’s publicist has to do a better job of picking the outlets they place her on. The Obama-Clinton conflict that neither side is willing to admit is happening is center stage at the Democratic National Convention. Bloomberg reports that Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke about keeping the party together and threw her support behind Obama.
Rumor has it a few people actually even believed it. I hope I am someday rich enough that when somebody asks me how many homes I own, I have absolutely no idea. Such is the wealth the fates have showered on Republican presidential hopeful John McCain.
Asked by Politico Wednesday how many houses he had, McCain said a member of his staff would have to get back to them on that. Because he didn’t know. Personally, I am not a fan of Paris Hilton at all. I’m just not. Let’s leave it at that. However, I do have to give her kudos for her response to John McCain’s recent ad that compared her (celebrity status) to Barack Obama.

John McCain, trying to deflect criticism from his forgetting that Iraq and Pakistan don’t share a border, is blasting Barack Obama for skipping a trip to a military hospital.

There’s a lot of feel good going on with the Democrats because they’ve come a step closer to electing the first Black president. But while the massive happy dance is going on, let’s not forget the weekend’s events. The whole superdelegate infested, chaotic process broke down in complete ridiculousness on Saturday.
Yeah, so superdelegate votes are equivalent to thousands of real people’s votes, Michigan and Florida’s delegates will get half a vote each and wait, my head just exploded. I can’t imagine why this process has managed to alienate 90 percent of registered voters.
