A woman found a package containing a brand new hand grenade – in her suburban back yard. It belonged to the Army, and Canadian military and police are investigating. You think?
The woman lives in Edmonton, Alberta. She found the suspicious package and took it to the police station. They asked her to put it on the lawn. That cracks us up. Woman fired for treating toddler to a doughnut

A woman at a Canadian chain restaurant – Tim Hortons – was fired for giving a tiny, 16-cent doughnut to a child. The woman, a 27-year-old single mom, was captured on video giving a Timbit to a toddler.
Nicole Lilliman saw a child crying and pointing to a Timbit, a small doughnut. So she gave the toddler a doughnut, but was too busy to go back to her purse to get enough change to pay for it. Her manager fired her for this act of generosity.

Dumb Canadian Election Law

Voting in the Canadian Elections? watch out then because if you deface a ballot paper its against the law…but of course if its a secret ballot how are they going to catch you?
CTV reports that according to section 167(2)(a) of the Canada Elections Act, “no person shall wilfully alter, deface or destroy a ballot.” Conviction could bring a $500 fine or three months in jail — even though the chances of getting caught are effectively nil.
Apparently though, some people did try to get caught in 2000, but eating the ballot paper in full view of electoral officials.
