Simply Dumb

This should be a no-brainer, but then I guess that could apply to several of our stories. Please folks, don’t drink and visit graveyards.
According to Dallas’ Fox 4 News police in Denton, TX (time to polish off that Only in the South story tag) got a call about a driver going in circles inside Oakwood Cemetery. Oh, and the driver was destroying gravestones in the process.

No matter how creatively you may try to drive when you’ve had a few too many drinks, the police will get you. Think that lawnmowers are okay? Nope. Motorized coolers? Nope. Anything with a motor can get you a drunk driving charge. Drinkers beware.
A man in Whitehall, NY found out that a motorized cooler is considered a motor vehicle when he was charged with driving while intoxicated. He was swerving and driving on the sidewalk on a “Cruzin Cooler.” The police pulled him over and cited him.

A Sheboygan, Wisconsin man was arrested twice in two hours for drunk driving. He was stopped just before 2 a.m. driving the wrong way on a one-way street. After being arrested and cited for drunk driving, he was released to his brother.
About 40 minutes later, the same man was spotted driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was pulled over and cited again for drunk driving. At least the second time he was taken to a detention center.

How’s this for returning to the scene of the crime? A Truckee, California woman crashed her car in the exact same spot where she wrecked five months ago after allegedly driving under the influence. Now that’s talent.
But it gets better. The 23-year-old’s blood alcohol content — both times — was over three times greater than the legal limit. Police said that she had trouble standing or walking.
