No matter how creatively you may try to drive when you’ve had a few too many drinks, the police will get you. Think that lawnmowers are okay? Nope. Motorized coolers? Nope. Anything with a motor can get you a drunk driving charge. Drinkers beware.
A man in Whitehall, NY found out that a motorized cooler is considered a motor vehicle when he was charged with driving while intoxicated. He was swerving and driving on the sidewalk on a “Cruzin Cooler.” The police pulled him over and cited him.

Here’s how a seemingly harmless prank gets out of hand. A New York man decided to take a riding lawnmower out for an early morning spin. At 1 a.m., in fact. If you haven’t guessed, he was drunk.
Police got reports of a drunk person at a home in Irving. When they arrived, they spotted a tuxedo-clad man on the mower. He wasn’t stealing it, as it was apparently his own mower.
