Is anyone else getting tired of all of the celebrity nicknames that the news insists on giving them? Bennifer. Brangelina. JLo. There are too many to remember. At least they just call Paris Hilton plain old Paris. That we can handle.
As we were cruising for the silly things that celebrities do, we were irritated by not one, but two annoying abbreviations. LiLo and SamRo. Like in this headline: LiLo Spars With Top Cop, Spas with SamRo. Are entertainment reporters so lazy that they can’t type out Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson? Really?

Our eternal flowing source of stupid celebrity news, Britney Spears, keeps the hits coming – quite literally.
Spears had a fender bender in her 2008 model V12 Mercedes SL65 late Saturday night, rear ending a 2006 Nissan while driving in stop-and-go traffic on Los Angeles’ famously congested Ventura freeway. The Nissan pushed forward into another vehicle, but none of the cars were damaged.
