Vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin took a prank call from notorious Montreal comedy duo The Masked Avengers earlier today. She was told that the caller was French President Nicolas Sarkozy who told her she’d make a great president someday. “Sarkozy” also told her they should go hunting from a helicopter and complimented her on the “documentary” Larry Flynt did about her.

It had to happen: Hustler millionaire Larry Flynt has announced he’s making a porno based on the meteoric rise of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. TMZ even has a leaked copy of the script. Porn star Lisa Ann will step into the thick glasses and sensible shoes of the aspiring vice president.Apparently Hillary Clinton and Condoleeza Rice lookalikes will appear in the cinematic tour de force as well.

David Kernell of Tennessee found out the hard way that getting into someone else’s email account is considered hacking. He has been indicted for accessing Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s personal Yahoo! email account.
Not only did he change her password by answering a few personal questions, he posted the info on a message board. Things including the account’s new password, family member cell phone numbers, and family email addresses.
Dude. NOT cool.
By the way, Kernell is is the son of a Democratic state legislator. Makes it even more amusing. But still not cool.

About as soon as Sarah Palin hit the national spotlight, people began remarking on her uncanny resemblance to 30 Rock star Tina Fey. Fey came back to SNL this weekend and totally nailed the comedy world’s most anticipated impression, with partner in crime Amy Poehler playing Hillary Clinton.
After this she has to stick for the remainder of the campaign. It’s her civic duty. Even though we’re a “dumb” news site we can appreciate some smart lady comics making this election cycle a lot more enjoyable. Can’t wait to see where they go with the “Lipstick on a Pig” controversy.

Many parents have taught their kids all the right things and still become grandparents too early. Teenagers are not the best at thinking about the long-term consequences of their actions. That really goes a long way towards making Palin more human and less politician. She’s dealing with a real American issue many families go through.
Unlike foreign policy, the plight of spotted owls or a number of issues the everyday person will never really be affected by this is something we can wrap our minds around.
