Charges well-grounded in attempt to steal power lines
We think we found another couple of men who should be nominated for the Darwin Awards. Two men from Somerset County, Pennsylvania were charged with trying to steal power lines. Unfortunately for those two, the lines were still attached to a transformer and utility poles.
The two, in their twenties, were shocked during the attempt. Only one of the men was well enough to attend an arraignment on the charges. We’re trying really hard not to snicker here. We wonder if this was a drunken dare or something, because why else would someone try to steal LIVE power lines?
